Fitness is important (duh) but it may be hard to get the motivation to work out sometimes. After all, there are a million other things that you’d rather be doing, right?

Although finding some motivation to eat right and work out can be difficult, there are some great apps out there for iPhone/Android users that can make it a little easier. Check out these five apps that help you stay fit and healthy this summer!

1. MyFitnessPal

MyFitnessPal is an app that allows you to track exercise, food, water intake, and much, much more. This app allows you to count calories, see how many calories you burn with exercise, and overall it helps you maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.

2. Fitbit

Although you don’t have to actually own a Fitbit to use the app, it is definitely a benefit. This app is amazing … if you connect it with your iPhone, it counts your steps, floors climbed, allows you to input food, and much more! The Fitbit app is easy and accessible … not to mention free. Download this app today and you won’t be sorry!

3. Lifesum 

This app is fairly new, but I’m very glad that I discovered it. It allows you to take multiple quizzes about your eating habits, exercise goals, and food preferences in order to help make a diet and workout plan custom to you. It is easy and simple to understand, and even provides some simple recipes that you can use while trying to stay fit!

4. Sworkit

For people on the go, Sworkit is an amazing app. It consists of quick, intense exercise interval workouts for a busy person like yourself. The workouts are video-guided, and provide instruction and guidance for your exercises. This app is an awesome way to work out, even if you only have five minutes!

5. 7 Minute Workout

This app is exactly what it says … it’s a 7 minute workout video for each day of the week! You can do this plan right when you wake up, before dinner, or even before you go to sleep … it’s just that simple!
